On August 13, 2016, The Montreal Kendo Club hosted its 2016 Junior Taikai and Kendo seminar. To celebrate the 60 years of kendo teaching of its founding father, Ono Sensei. 38 junior kenshis from Toronto, Boston, Quebec city, Montreal and even Omachi Japan participated in the tournament making it a truly international event.
